Ultra Light Trigger Snap Shackle for Spinnaker Sheets
Wichard's Speedlink was specifically designed for spinnaker operations on race and performance cruising boats. The engineering focus on the design has led to an ultralight, ultra strong snap shackle that releases cleanly under load, prevents accidental opening and is available at a competitive price point. The design features a larger bottom bail than a typical snap shackle leaving space for another speedlink to be clipped on, where lazy sheets & guys are in use.
The speedlink is designed to be released manually by hand or through the use of a fid/spike, which we would recommend if releasing under load.
