Professionally Spliced Mainsail Halyards For Cruising Yachts
Our Standard Mainsail Halyard is constructed of Marlow's Doublebraid rope, giving a long service life with an excellent price/quality ratio. Each halyard comes with a spliced eye and messenger loop for easy installation and end of season removal. The spliced eye ensures your rope maintains maximum strength in place of a traditional bowline knot reducing breakload by upto 50%. This is a great halyard option for the majority of sailors.
Captive shackles or Inox thimbles can be added for additional security alongside an upgrade to Marlow's Blue Ocean® Doublebraid, the first yacht rope to be produced using recycled materials.
Halyard length is set using Qty e.g. 15 Qty = 15 Meters.
