Dinghy Control Line for Continuous & Non Continuous Systems 

A limited edition colour run of the hardest working ropes in Marlow's Excel dinghy range, Excel control is specifically designed for use in continuous/endless loop control line systems. With a Technora® and polyester construction, Excel Control offers exceptional abrasion resistance, great cleating thanks to its robust round shape, excellent grip in hands and cleats, all at a very low price point. 

This limited edition run replaces the black technora with a natural colour to give a very distinguished looking control line.

Excel Control is designed to be end to end spliced with no increase in diameter, this is achieved by using a lightweight polypropylene "filler" as the core, which is removed when splicing. The key to splicing Excel Control is tapering...the tight snakeskin construction with Technora® requires the ends to be tapered during each part of the splice otherwise you will break your splicing needles trying to pull the ends through each other....you have been warned!
