Holding Ropes Securely for 60 Years
As sailors ourselves, we understand the importance of reliable hardware, and that's why we're proud to feature Clamcleat in our range. For over 60 years, Clamcleat Limited has been at the forefront of rope holding solutions for the sailing market and beyond.
It all started in 1963 with a simple yet ingenious idea to improve how a knob attaches to a light pull-cord. This led to the creation of their first cleat, the CL201, which remarkably, is still popular today – a testament to its effective design. The core principle behind Clamcleat has always been about providing a strong grip proportional to the load, without the need for complex moving parts.
From those humble beginnings, Clamcleat's range has expanded to include over 150 different cleats and accessories. Whether you're outfitting a dinghy, yacht, or even involved in industrial applications, there's likely a Clamcleat solution for your rope holding needs.
